First Step Cambodia

First Step is a new project designed to meet the needs of male victims and survivors of sexual abuse and their families, carers, supporters and communities.

These needs will be met through social work and other activities related to Prevention & Protection, Support, and Advocacy & Education. Our primary goal is to work in partnership with everyone for positive change and ensure that all male survivors are enabled to achieve their potential with freedom and dignity.

In order to achieve this, direct social work services that are appropriate and sensitive to males’ needs are available, as well as unique and specialist training, support, learning and consultation opportunities for those working with boys and young men in various settings.
